BBS Barriers has subjected its BsecB Security Barrier to a series of impact tests in accordance with PAS 68 at the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).

PAS 68 is the industry standard for vehicle impact testing. It defines vehicle type, speed, angle of impact and provides an impact rating for a vehicle security barrier when subjected to a single impact.

Testing has been carried out at 64km/h (40mph) and 80km/h (50mph) using N2 and N3 vehicle types respectively.

BsecB and BsecB Invicta are certified and compliant with PAS68.
