Connect Plus have announced four contractors who have been nominated for a £150m framework agreement for the M25 motorway network improvement and maintenance work. The work will consist of civil engineering and technology work and will cover link roads associated with the M25 and the M25 itself.
The framework agreement will include traffic barriers as well as widening of carriageways, bridge works, lighting, CCTV cameras and many more aspects that contribute to the improvement of the M25.
Geoffrey Osborne, Jackson Civil Engineering, R&W Civil Engineering and Skanska Construction have been instructed to carry out this contract over a four year period with scope to extend for another two years dependent upon Connect Plus’s decision.
Connect Plus (M25) Ltd have a 30yr design, build, finance and operate contract that Highways England awarded to them in 2009.
